Non-commercial Partnership “Center of Modern Medical Technologies “TEMPO” announces the Biotechnology Entrepreneurial Competition. We invite representatives of TEMPO-member organizations and other organizations involved in joint project development with members of the Partnership to participate in the Competition.
The main purposes of the Competition:

Enhancement of participants’ knowledge level in scientific developments’ commercialization

Stimulation of interest of business structures to the most prospective developments in biotechnology and medicine

Attraction of investments
According to the “Rules of the Competition” we accept applications related to developments in a field of biotechnology, biomedicine, medicine, and production of biotechnological and pharmaceutical preparations.

The Prize Fund of the Competition is $ 50 000. The winners will be announced and awarded during Awarding Ceremony in Moscow on 5 April 2006.
The Competition will also include educational component - Round Tables will be held in Moscow, St. Petersburg, and Novosibirsk. The Round tables will be devoted to a procedure of venture investment, recipes to develop a business plan and make a product presentation; process of bringing a product to the market, searching and contacting potential investors, Intellectual Property Protection issues, etc. Leading Russian and foreign businessmen, venture capitalists, and top managers will participate in the Round Tables as lecturers and consultants.
